BARBEQUE
The BBQ is located in the fenced spa pool area. This is complimentary for our guests. A BBQ tool set, cooking oil, handy towels etc are available from Reception. Please ensure the BBQ is left as you found it – clean.
CAR PARK
The management cannot be responsible for damage to or theft from vehicles left in the car park during your stay.
CHECK-OUT
Our check-out time is 10am on the day of departure. Should you wish to stay later, please contact reception before your scheduled departure time. Late checkouts will incur a $20 per half hour charge.
If you wish to checkout before 7.30am please settle your account prior to 8.00pm the previous night.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Farmlands and EFTPOS. Personal cheques cannot be accepted.
DENTIST/DOCTOR
24 hour medical services are available day and night at Wairau Hospital A & E Department. In case of emergency our Duty Manager will make any necessary arrangements.

CLOSEST EXITS – proceed quickly and calmly to the assembly point beside the central garage – all guests will be accounted for at this point.
GUEST LAUNDRY
Laundry facilities are located beside unit 17. The hours are 7.30am to 9.00pm. Your laundry should be completed and removed from the laundry prior to 9.00pm. At 9.00pm all machines are switched off and the door is locked until morning. Washing machines are $4 per cycle. Laundry powder is also available from Reception for $2.
The dryer is $2 per half hour cycle. A clothes line is located at the back of the Guest Laundry. Portable drying racks are available if you wish to dry clothes in your room or on your balcony.
HAIRDRESSING
We recommend Muse Hair located in the Springlands Mall. Ph 578-4614. Hairdryers can be found in the bathroom cupboards.
HOUSEKEEPING
Extra towels are located in each of the bathroom vanities (excluding access units) If you need additional supplies of linen, pillows or blankets, toiletries, tea, or coffee please contact Reception. Your room will be fully serviced and re-stocked daily.
INFORMATION CENTRE
Blenheim Information Centre is located in the Railway Station on Grove Road. Experienced staff are available for your enquiries. Ph: 577-0808

Please remember to leave your room key at the reception desk when you depart. Retained keys incur a $30 charge.

MAIL & MESSAGES
A New Zealand Post outlet is located in the Mall opposite the motel. Any messages for you will be delivered to your room or will be passed onto you at Reception.

RESERVATIONS
Our Reception staff can book your accommodation ahead to any property in New Zealand.
RESTAURANTS/CAFES
Speight’s Ale House is located right across the road for your convenience.
There is also a map of restaurant local restaurants and contact phone numbers available at Reception.
SECURITY
To protect your belongings we advise guests to secure their unit at all times.
SERVICED ROOMS
Your room will be serviced daily between the hours of 9.30am and 12.30pm. We endeavour to do this when your room is unoccupied. If you do not require your room to be serviced please hang out your ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on the outside of the door. During a room service the following duties will be carried out – beds made, bathrooms cleaned and breakfast dishes washed. Your towels will be replaced if you have left them in the base of the shower. Tea and coffee supplies will be replenished.
SHOPPING & SUPERMARKET
A supermarket is located opposite this motel. You will also find a hairdresser, NZ Post Shop, a pharmacy, the garden centre and a fabulous café. A petrol station is located about 200 metres away (turn right onto Middle Renwick Road). To locate the central business centre – turn left as you leave the motels, right at the first roundabout, Boyce St will lead onto High St and straight into town.
SMOKING POLICY
All units are designated non-smoking.
However, we appreciate you may wish to smoke and have placed ashtrays at the door entrances or on the balconies of your unit. Please close doors while smoking. If a room is smoked in or smoke allowed enter a room you will be charged $200 for specialist cleaning plus a one-night accommodation charge to cover loss of income.
SPA POOL
The spa pool is available from 9 am to 9.30 pm. Please be respectful of others and limit your time in the pool to 30min during busy times.
SWIMMING POOL
Our swimming pool is available during summer months only. If the pool is covered, it is closed. Our pool is unattended. Please supervise your children at all times.

TELEVISION
We subscribe to SKY Guest Select 50+
You have access to over 50 channels including 6 Movie, 6 Sports, Discovery, Music, 24hr News and all of the usual free to air channels.
We would appreciate it if you would not try to adjust the TV. If you are having trouble viewing the TV please ensure the input is set to “component” and your SKY decoder is switched on. If you are still unable to view please contact Reception.
VALUABLES
A small secure safe is available at reception to secure your valuables. You will be required to sign in and out any belongings you leave with us.
VISITORS
Visitors are only permitted between 8.00 am and 9.00 pm, No parties or large gatherings.
