Join our small Bubbly Team for a fun-filled winery tour in the beautiful Marlborough region of New Zealand. We are all Bubbly in Nature hence the name and we focus on all the wines the region produces. Marlborough wineries are world famous, producing delicious, internationally recognised wines.

Join your hosts – as “Effervescent as Champagne” – tasting the full range of varieties of Marlborough wines that the region has to offer, while also learning interesting things about wine production and the local area, seeing some unique architecture and views, and meeting some fantastic people. You will be guided by either Helen or Chris from Na Clachan who have 11 years’ experience growing grapes for Allan Scott Family Winemakers. Your day is not just about tasting a range of great wines.

You will also discover the history and methods of viticulture and winemaking in the region – the first plantings, early mistakes, pruning, frost protection and harvesting. Don’t feel intimidated by some of the terminology of ‘wine speak’ as we explain the secrets of Maylo, burriques, fermentation, ageing and organics – and taste how they affect the wine in your glass.

With Sounds Connection you’ll be collected directly from your accommodation and taken on an in-depth wine tour around this stunning region to taste the best of the best – Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Riesling and more. We’ve been working with the local wine industry for over twenty years and our guides are professional, knowledgeable and great ambassadors for the Marlborough wines, people and the region.

Highlight’s Marlborough Wine Tour is for those with a taste for wines, beers and fruit liqueurs. Join us for a ‘not to be missed’ tour through Marlborough’s world famous wine region and sample it’s essential taste among the panoramic landscapes.

When touring with us we invite your input into the choice of wineries to visit, and we aim to visit 5 – 7 wineries during the day with a lunch stop at one of Marlborough’s many fine Gourmet Winery Restaurants. The wine tour can also include arts, crafts, preserves, olive oil tastings, beer tastings and the renowned Prenzels Distillery tasting room.

Daily wine tours are in one of our 11 seater air-conditioned coaches with a choice of start times. The earlier start times of 10am or 11.30am allow you a lunch break during the tour to enjoy a winery lunch (at your cost). Our wine tours operate seven days a week and we are flexible with start / finish times. We provide Door to Door pick ups from your accommodation in Blenheim, Picton and Havelock. Additional charges may apply for pick ups beyond Blenheim. Pick ups available also within the Marlborough Sounds, costs available on request.
